I'm Julie, a professional dog trainer in the Atlanta area. I specialize in behavioral dog training, working with both puppies and older dogs on obedience, reactivity, anxiety, and clear leadership. My approach blends empathy and patience with calm confident leadership, helping you build a relationship with your dog rooted in clarity, connection, confidence, and joy.
Behavior Modification
I help dogs work through the behaviors that make daily life stressful, things like reactivity, anxiety, fear, overarousal, jumping and pulling on the leash. Behavior modification is about understanding why your dog is struggling and giving both of you the tools to move toward calmer, clearer communication.
I also support puppies and young dogs with potty training, crate training, leash skills, socialization, and early behavior foundations. Whether you’re dealing with big emotions or everyday challenges, I guide you with empathy, structure, and confident leadership so your dog can learn to feel safe, supported, and understood.
Experienced Trainer
Before I became a dog trainer, I spent years working hands‑on in the animal care world, from exotic species to family pets, learning how animals communicate, how they cope with stress, and how they respond to calm, confident guidance.
Those experiences shaped the way I train today. I’ve worked with nervous dogs, overwhelmed dogs, high‑energy dogs, and dogs who simply needed someone to slow down and understand them. Over time, I became the person people called when they didn’t know what else to try.
Today, as a professional dog trainer in the Atlanta area, I bring that same patience, clarity, and real‑world experience into every session. My background allows me to read subtle behavior cues, support dogs through big emotions, and help families feel capable and confident as they learn together.
